Lower Part Of Stannington

Hi all,

 

Looking for some help please! My partner and I are looking to buy around the Stannington area (we're looking at 'upper' and 'lower'). We've seen lots posted here from a few years ago about the housing estate/flats near Liberty Hill and the main Stannington Road, and we wondered if this area has improved over time or whether it is still a hotspot for crime, drugs etc?
