Jewish Cemetery Ecclesfield.

I seem to remember a Jewish Cemetery on t.h left as you went into Ecclesfield going down from Sheffield Lane Top.

Anyone else have memories of it ?

The Jewish cemetery  I remember was on the right side of the road, down from Lane Top going towards Ecclesfield. We youngsters, in the 40's, used to say, irreverently, that Jews were buried standing up!

Thanks for your replies. I havent lived in Sheffield since 1976  & haven't been down past that cemetery since I was a boy in 1950/60's. So  its good to know my memory is right !
