Old Gym Near Wicker Archers

can anyone remember what the gym was called just threw the wicker archers. it was bang across from where the new Tesco is now.in the big building. shut down in the 90s.

Hi there im sure the gym your refering to is the same  gym  where i did Thai boxing for a while  around 85/86 time. The trainer there was an Irish guy called Mick Maloney. I really cant remember the name tho.

Hi, in the 80's there was a gyym just past the Wicker arches towards Attercliffe which was housed in a refurbished office block. I think that this gym was run by Herol Bomber Graham. 

In the late 70's a gym was started on the top floor of a warehouse on Sheldon Row behind the Wicker which later became the Wicker kickboxing gym run by my old friend Mick Mullaney. When this was demolished to build Derek Dooley way,  Mick moved the gym to Effingham road and it became the Wicker Camp.
