silly.questions   0 #1 Posted April 13, 2020 Hello everyone. I have seen a lot of paid solutions out there but are there any examples of free ones or moreover tutorials on how to code such banners myself? If I simply have Google Analytics for my private portfolio website, I too need to have such a banner - correct? Thanks in advance for your help! What about warning that some 3rd party JavaScript you use on your site might use them?
 Share this content via...
swarfendor437 Â Â 14 #4 Posted April 13, 2020 Rather than have a banner, why not just have an index page like I do which gives the punter the opportunity to accept cookies or reject them explaining that such cookies are not tracking cookies, merely ones that load the page quicker on return - rejection takes them to duckduckgo website where nothing is stored. There are a lot of free scripts to show a cookie confirmation banner; a quick google picked out  https://cookie-bar.eu/ https://cookieinfoscript.com/  As you are using google analytics you should have such a bar.
