I thought the advice was that if you are at a supermarket you can buy whatever you like? If the shop is open and sells it then you can buy it.  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52245937 Edited April 10, 2020 by kidneystone
 Share this content via...

Why does everything on here seem to turn into an inquisition?  I'm sure the OP is doing his best to follow the rules and just wants a bit of "isolated" family time. If the OP lives next door to you and the BBQ is annoying you, go from there!
 Share this content via...
sammo sparks   15 #16 Posted April 10, 2020 We are having a barbecue tomorrow. Me, my wife and dsughter. We're not having a party, just a meal and as I said earlier you can now get coals from the co op in Woodhouse after a few days of them out of stock. If they didn't want you to buy them, they wouldn't stock them.
 Share this content via...

Or, the smoke from your barbecue might make their plight even worse
 Share this content via...

That’s not true at all.  the government have said that if a shop is allowed to be open - you are allowed to buy what it sells.  so if your supermarket sells barbecue coals you can buy them. likewise, there’s no reason whatsoever for you not to have a barbecue in your back garden - just like there wouldn’t be if there wasn’t a virus going around.
 Share this content via...
