Yes this is not an essential item you are not supposed to be buying it or having barbequeues.

I thought the advice was that if you are at a supermarket you can buy whatever you like?

Load of rubbish. If the shop is open and sells it then you can buy it.

I can't believe all this crap after someone asked a simple question "Anybody no if shops are stocking charcoal for bbq"

Exactly what I was thinking. Why does everything on here seem to turn into an inquisition?

I'm sure the OP is doing his best to follow the rules and just wants a bit of "isolated" family time. If the OP lives next door to you and the BBQ is annoying you, go from there!

We are having a barbecue tomorrow.

Me, my wife and dsughter.

We're not having a party, just a meal and as I said earlier you can now get coals from the co op in Woodhouse after a few days of them out of stock.

If they didn't want you to buy them, they wouldn't stock them.

Do make sure that none of your near neighbours are suffering with the virus. Or, the smoke from your barbecue might make their plight even worse

It's for my partner and kids only

And as I'm not leaving my garden it's not hurting anyone at all..

That’s not true at all.

the government have said that if a shop is allowed to be open - you are allowed to buy what it sells.

so if your supermarket sells barbecue coals you can buy them.

likewise, there’s no reason whatsoever for you not to have a barbecue in your back garden - just like there wouldn’t be if there wasn’t a virus going around.
