Just wondering how long the side effects of squits last when taking this tablet.

The tablet seems to be doing the job and it might be a case of shut up and make do for ten days but if anyone has any experience and advise then I would appreciate.

Thank you

Hallamshire put me on colchicine 18 months ago and its done a great job with no side effects at all.

Except when the senior GP at the practice refused to renew the prescription just before I saw the specialist at the Hallamshire again. The specialist put me straight back on after the symptoms came back with a vengeance.

Although colchicine is an ancient medicine, in certain dosages it has a lot of side effects and clashes with other drugs eg statins.

Some of these side effects are serious - phone the RHS  rheumatology clinic.

There is a "squits" bug doing the rounds at the moment.

Thank you Annie,

That's really interesting as she is also on stations. The squits stopped as soon as the coarse of tables finished so it's possible that she had the side affects, but not ruling out the bug.

Thank You for replying and I hope you are over your illness.
