Baron99   779 #7 Posted April 7, 2020 (edited) Funny that both Honor Blackman & Diana Rigg (Emma Peel), both left the Avengers to star in Bond films.  Remember watching the recent repeats of the Avengers on Talking Pictures, & Peel's replacement, Tara King (actress Linda Thorsen), at one stage asked Steed what had happened to Mrs Peel? Steed explained that she'd probably married a secret agent, which Diana Rigg did do in "On Her Majesty' Secret Service."  A cheeky nod to the Bond film from the Avengers' writers. Edited April 7, 2020 by Baron99 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
