Howard Ibbotson   0 #1 Posted March 19, 2020 Can anyone help me with photos of Sheaf Lane? I lived there with my mum, dad and older sister in the early to mid 60s. We were moved during the slum clearance programme to make way for the Park Roundabout. Any information would be very much appreciated. Thankyou  Howard
 Share this content via...

Jim Hardie   527 #10 Posted April 4, 2020 The Plough is the building behind the bus and the Newmarket is to the right, at the corner of Broad Street and Sheaf Street. Sheaf Lane is the road between the two.  https://www.picturesheffield.com/frontend.php?action=zoomWindow&keywords=Ref_No_increment;EQUALS;s41814&prevUrl=
 Share this content via...

The lagging company was Darlington Insulation, also, didn't Gunstone's bakery have premises near there before they moved to Dronfield?
