She isn't sat on it at the moment hope she doesn't let it get to cold.

They don't tend to start incubating the eggs until they 've laid the next to last one. This ensures they all hatch at about the same time.

I don't know where the second egg is, hopefully tucked away.

They're both very unsettled this afternoon, she's screeching at something and keeps flying off, with the tiercel following.

Looks like she has started incubating the two eggs that are there which indicates that will be all she lays.

I keep dipping in & out of this.

From looking at the Peregrine at the moment, clearly sitting on at least 1 egg?

Daft question.  I've only seen 1 bird in the nest.  Are there actually 2 & do they alternate on the nest, while the other goes off to feed?

Hello Baron Yes there are 2 birds and they do take it in turns to sit on the eggs.

Cheers.  I'll have to sit & watch them for a bit longer.

Both Sheffield and Nottingham have two eggs. The Notts ones tend to have steady years, it looks like the Sheffield ones will have a couple of chicks this year.

A welcome short break from other matters watching them.
