Recommended Posts

yes, sadly another licencee has failed despite trying. Heineken's Star Bars pub company is advertising the lease as available again.

I expect the move of HSBC from Griffin House hasn't helped.    Was a regular lunch time haunt when I worked there.

Hmmm, I wonder why the Heineken owned Three Tuns has closed again when not 100 yards away The Crow, The Shakespeare and the Bar Stewards seem to be doing so well.

What could be the common denominator between the three successful independently run pubs?

Real shame - lovely old pub.

went in a month or so ago and was very quiet.

someone will take it on though. Plenty of potential.

The Architecture is so beautiful from that era, would love to see more new builds with such beauty (well in my eyes anyhow!)

Isn't the Three Tuns an asset of community value? This should prevent it being converted into flats or something..

Shame if it has. Great pub and a nice stop off between Fagans and Kelham Island
