Do you think theres a chance some players have been told by Monk they have no future at the club, if they get him the sack they might prolong their stay with a new man at the helm, just a thought.

Yes Brooker but weren't Westwood, Rhodes, Winnall and perhaps a couple of others put on the back burner under the last manager ? Summats goin' on as we all can see.

I would say this is very likely what has happened, only time will tell.  GM says he has spoken to the players as a group and individually. Surely the first thing he would tell them would be whether they were in his future plans or not, and what were their thoughts to that situation. Would they be prepared to play to  the standards  asked of them which is also going to influence future employers and be to their advantage or tell them they will not be up for selection which appears to have happened with some of the players.    In my opinion  whatever happens  GM  is not going to change his mind, he knows who he wants and has done for a while, and  those players are as determined   to see the  managers position is uncomfortable to say the least, and us as fans are caught up in the middle.

Are the defenders not well? They look as though they coming down with an illness, either that or they had been out on the razzle.

Hutchinson v Rooney would have been alot better than be low par Bannan who needs dropping now,Tom Lees lost it,our midfield players are to small and weak, but why can"t Monk switch Iorfa to midfield,as he is good on the ball and tackling, and looks like a Carlton Palmer type of player, just can"t wait to see what happens at the end of the season and a big clear out is required of our money grabbing players who have lost the attitude in  performing in front of these super loyal fans

Monk has hinted he wanted to move players on in January and bring his own players in but the Club determines transfer policy not the manager. Would a new manager make any difference?
The blame lies at the very top

Weve been here before with Luhukay, certain players arent doing their jobs because their mates are banished from the first team.

JL tried to replace some of the rotten apples with untried kids, and it backfired, couple that with Monks poor man management skills and this was a car crash waiting to happen,it was all a matter of time.............

Rhodes could of been gone if we hadn't demanded 1 million for a loan fee, should of let him go and let them pay his wages till the summer, that would of been a big saving

Rhodes has had his chances, needs to be gone. As for Hogan there's no saying he'd perform any better

It doesn't though. Most fans were wanting Wickham, we got him. There's no saying Hogan would of got 6 for us and there no way we could of got both
