When you buy and sell a house do we pay the estate agent to sell the property and then pay them again when we purchase another property ?

Don't give them ideas! The vendor pays the estate agent's fees.

If you sell your house through the same estate agent as one youre buying from it may be worth with them seems to me they would look after you better

But you do have to pay the solicitor for both transactions.
