Donfisher   0 #1 Posted February 20, 2020 Got a mate visiting sheffield this weekend who's hoping to fish the don and catch a grayling as hes never had one before. Obviously it's quite high with the weather which I've found makes it more difficult (we're just float fishing) and I've blanked twice in the past 2 weeks around the salmon pastures area. Hoping someones got some tips or any spots they dont mind sharing. Thanks
 Share this content via...
charliewag   19 #2 Posted February 21, 2020 There are a few swims in Beeley wood which are fishable with a stick float when the river is carrying a bit of extra water. In normal conditions these swims are very sluggish. The swims are just upstream from Abbey forge and further up to the caravan storage yard.
