Charles William Taylor

I am one of the sons of Charles William Taylor, who was the Chief Librarian at the Central Library in the 60s and 70s. I am conducting some family research into his life - details on his father for example who I believe died in WW1 and grandfather who was a grinder in the nineteenth century . Any stories or other information greatly appreciated. Also any information about my uncle John Taylor ( a P.E. teacher) in the 50s who I believe was a miltary photographer in WW2 would be excellent
