It's only those who voted to remain and still don't accept the eu referendum result who are moaning about negotiations.

We left the EU, the vote was enacted. The process is over!

Nobody owes anything to the referendum any more.

It didn't specify any particular future relationship, so "moaning" about Boris' lies and gross incompetence is fair game.

That’s not even remotely true.

The moaning will  also come from Brexit supporters who either wanted No deals all along or will not be happy with any compromises.

When we do get no deal, and we will, loads of people are going to be angry.

Everyone will be paying 20% more for food and other essentials. Our farmers will be uncompetitive when selling to the EU. Our fishermen might keep EU trawlers out of our water, but there isn’t any point in catching fish that you can’t sell.

Bring it on. I reserve the right to be properly angry towards those who have visited this nonsense upon us.

Still, blue passports.

That would be the perfect time for leavers to stand up and shout "Will of the people"

We should have listened to Jeremy Corbyn before the election, and given his solution a chance.

Funny you should mention that slogan again...because the withdrawal agreement has an unimpeachable democratic mandate: Johnson called and fought a general election on manifesto commitment to ratify and implement the WA; he won an 80-seat majority. The Parliament thus elected, duly passed legislation to ratify and implement the WA, and the Tory party were whipped to support that legislation, consistently with their manifesto commitment.

Both people and parliament have spoken unambiguously: the WA is the Will of the People and must be implemented, come what may.

(we'll leave aside the not-a-little-ironic fact, that the WA is legally binding, unlike the previous 'will of the people' 2016 referendum result that was not).

Well, not quite: apparently it is Johnson who is moaning about negotiations, to the point of telling you now, that a no deal outcome would not be a bad outcome, after telling you some time ago, that it would be an epic failure of statecraft.

A trade deal will happen, if Johnson does a (WA-like) u-turn on LPF by mid-October. Else it likely won't happen: the EU27 is never in any rush, when negotiating with 3rd party countries. CETA with Canada took years. Same with Japan. And the TTIP deal was binned outright.

Btw, WTO rules include substantially the same LPF obligations. Something, something, nose, something, spite, face. But hey, wouldn't be the first time, right? ;)

We have now had a government minister in the House of Commons confirming we will be breaking international law in a specific but limited way. What a time to be alive.

I don't know any leave voters who are moaning. Anyone who voted leave should have been aware there was a possibility the UK would trade on WTO terms  after leaving the EU. I will support whatever the Government decides to do because I voted for them last December to get Brexit done.

Even if that means breaking international law? Do you think that will reflect well on us globally?

There was a legal expert on one of the News channels last night stating the UK won't be breaking international law because the EU haven't acted in good faith regarding the negotiations. I doubt very much other countries care about the shenanigans regarding the current negotiations between the UK and EU.  The UK is the 5th largest economy globally meaning there will not be any shortage of countries wanting to trade with us regardless of how the current negotiations with the EU end.

And a link to this would be very useful to see the credentials of this "legal expert" given HMG's legal expert has resigned over the matter.

I think it was on last night's Newsnight on BBC2 at 10.45pm.  I do a fair amount of channel switching at that time of night between the BBC,  Sky News, RTE and Al Jazeera.

Shouldn't take you too long to google and find your legal expert then.
