Reduce the coverage of the NHS, or the Police, or any system... and you will see cases that the system is supposed to prevent... going up!

You claimed "there so there is no way of judging how effective any coverage can be", that is clearly false.

Ridiculously so!

Not really as you cannot factor in the unknown precisely so you cannot judge exactly how effective any coverage can be. Covid Vaccines are a prime example of that.

Reminds me of someone once asking me to do a poll, when I said I always lie she said that's OK we factor that in!

I'm stating that the detection of failures/issues will increase if you actually look.

It's really not a difficult concept.

That's true and again Covid testing showed that up to be true but that was not what you were asking.

....

There's a phrase... "When you're in a hole... stop digging!" :hihi:

I know...... 👍

You can measure the incidence of things the system was supposed to prevent increasing if coverage is removed... really!

Like your notions re: The N.I Border, completely irrelevant.

The effectiveness of a system is increased with better coverage, it can be measured.

Your original claim (along with your explanations of probability, possibility and likelihood) is logically and factually incorrect.

That may be so but coverage is not being removed is it so it's irrelevant. What did you say about digging holes.... :hihi:

So is the above quote citing the N.I. Border.

No it can increase not is increased as there is no guarantee that would happen.

A... if it's so, your original claim cannot be :?

B... I never claimed it was :?

I stated that if a 65% uplift in funding required to maintain standards we enjoyed as EU members, it's self evident that either standards will drop or we will pay more.

As before, an example of the stupidity and expense of Brexit.

It's amusing to watch you having to break your back doing it :hihi:

Indeed, but it does highlight the cognitive failure of your argument in that case :?

I am not the only poster pointing out the similarities

Desperate stuff, indeed! :D

You couldn't make it up...

Stanley Johnson becomes French to keep link with EU

That and the fact that two of Farage's kids have German passports really sums up the farce that was Brexit...

Stanley Johnson is a Remainer.  It's a shame all the Remainers haven't become French citizens and left these shores.

You'd have quite a skill shortage if they had.

Even more of a skills shortage

What were the numbers after we had taken back control...? Oh yes...

"Number of foreign nurses hired by NHS hit record high last year: 23,000 - nearly HALF of new recruits - trained abroad, with majority from India and the Philippines"

Classic xenophobic brexiteer... hope you don't get ill and have to be treated by the NHS, you might have an allergic reaction!

Remind me of Farage's stance?

Oh yes, a staunch brexiteer.

Nothing, it is about their father who wanted to get out of Europe but who sat on the fence by getting them german passports.

Such hypocrisy is embedded and deep seated in the brexiteers.

I am still waiting for the £350M a week windfall to the NHS - where is it?

Being able to recruit staff from around the world is just as important. We are now seen as a more divided and less friendly country.

Although I did see a story about record numbers of NHS nurses working for the NHS. How does that fit with Brexit?
