Clearly you are not English? Brexit is an important issue, the government made a complete Sow's Purse of the whole deal IMO, hence I voted remain because I knew they probably would plus unlike a LOT of leave voters, apart from the fact I can't talk to Foreign call centres who don't understand my accent, I don't hate immigrants in Europe.

Yes I’m English. Weird for that to be your first thought. Why wouldn’t I be?

Most people aren't, so odds on you aren't either. But you are.

Cleared that up.

I meant more in terms of why being English would preclude me from an opinion?

Please given an example of a Brexit  benefit and how will it enhance our economy?

I never anticipated a benefit and I have yet to see any,but as I said the thread can continue into the future in the hope that something beneficial to the country may be celebrated.

Didn't realise this thread only concerned those living in England? The pool of people affected is at least continental, therefore my point, whilst meant in jest, still stands.

I find it weird that there are still Remainers desperate to cling on to the past.  There is nothing any of them can to now to keep the UK in the EU.  It will be best for them and the nation as a whole if everyone embraced Brexit.

Just for completeness, I'm taking an empty Luton van to France later this year when restrictions are eased in order to pick up some furniture and I'm willing to give any local Remainer free passage to France along with their furniture and belongings  if they wish to relocate to the EU.  A  Remainer is welcome to private message me for more details.

Meh, I'm a remainer, I voted remain because A) I knew the conservatives would make a total Sow's Purse of the whole deal and B) Unlike 75% of leave voters (IMO) I don't have an axe to grind against immigrants.

All irrelevant now.  The deed has been done.

So the thread becomes more relevant as the consequences unfold! :)

Time for all Remainers to move on and look to the future and support Brexit.

You can't polish a turd.

Remember, you now need to declare all that furniture, & pay import duty and VAT on it :hihi:

What does that even mean? What is there to embrace?

All the stuff Brexit hasn't taken yet... tightly!

Too late for many rights and freedoms, sadly :(
