Consequences Of Brexit [Part 9] Read First Post Before Posting

Let me make this perfectly clear - any personal attacks will get you a suspension. The moderating team is not going to continually issue warnings. If you cannot remain civil and post within forum rules then do not bother to contribute.

In addition to remoaner we are also not going to allow the use of libdums or liebore - if you cannot behave like adults and post without recourse to these childish insults then please refrain from posting. If you have a problem with this then you all know where the helpdesk is.

Off topic, but I respectfuliy disagree with your implication.

I think Ms Priti Patel is a nasty piece of work, and I don't particularly like her, but it's not her Indian heritage that I have a problem with.

Let's agree to agree on that.

This might explain a great deal

Yes, but the paper work needed to take their catch to France after Brexit means it's easier to dump it this side of The Channel.

quote a few articles out today, talking about government plans to scrap our rights to refuse to work more than 48 hours per week.

"your employer will be able to sack you for not working 50+ hours per week"

they didn't put that on the bus...

(even though we can already opt out, we just can't be sacked for saying no)

OK. The FT  wants me to pay - no thanks. The other two merely refer to an un-named 'source' - so all-in-all a load of unverified speculation.
