More bias anti democratic nonsense.  I repeat Brexit is a long term project and it will take a number of years before the benefits of not paying into the EU budget are felt.  The implementation of Brexit cost billions more to implement than it would have done if our politicians had all respected the democratic choice the electorate had made and hadn't blocked Brexit for months before it was finally implemented. It needs the correct government polices to maximise the future benefits of Brexit and to be fair to the current government they have had many unforeseen and unprecedented issues to deal with since the UK officially left the EU.

Yes the fact that we weren't in the EU had nothing to do with the vaccine rollout. If we were still in the EU we could of done the rollout in the same way.

Don't do that - you know the little Englanders (aka Brexiteers) hate the use of facts!

‘What have we done?’: six years on, UK counts the cost of Brexit:

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/jun/25/what-have-we-done-six-years-on-uk-counts-the-cost-of-brexit

We are not shipping anything like the amount we were. As a country, we were supposed to be out there trading with the world and yet nothing has happened except we have got a load more paperwork and we have lost lots of our business. It is completely bonkers.

Our growth stopped five years ago, 70% of our turnover was international before Brexit. It went from 70% to 50% to 30%. We would be twice the size we are now if it were not for Brexit.

Didn't the UK also buy an absolute ton of the AstraZeneca vaccine, only to find it causes issues with blood clotting?

Seems to have fallen out of favour, I wonder how much went un-used?
