I've just had a 2k pay rise at work without even asking for it. If I'd asked for that two years ago they probably would have laughed me out the office. I wonder how that will work out, a 2k pay rise each?
 Share this content via...

Are you demanding water companies stop pumping sewage into our rivers and sea?  https://www.independent.co.uk/climate-change/brexit-raw-sewerage-water-treatment-b1915765.html
 Share this content via...

I drive a VW Crafter with a D1, some of our drivers are ex bus/HGV drivers, so I am hoping we get an uplift too.
 Share this content via...

If you had a HGV licence there would be more opportunities for you to earn more money.  Although HGV drivers are older, I prefer a good life/work ballance and want less work as I get closer to retirement. The really good pay is away from home, I have a family life to maintain.
 Share this content via...

And covid can last 22 days in sewage so spare a thought for our fishermen who have had such an easy time post brexit.  https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/notice-of-withdrawal-of-recognition-for-natural-mineral-water
 Share this content via...

Remember the UK recently reneging on the negotiated fishing access rights? To the surprise of no-one, here comes the flipside:  https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2021/10/25/france-preparing-implement-go-slow-strategy-british-lorries/  Would be very problematic for UK exporters, I’m afraid.
