This will upset a few 'intellectually superior' Remainers by bursting a few bubbles.

It’s pretty much an established fact that remain voters were more highly educated than Leave voters. That doesn’t make them “intellectually superior” but it does make them better  academically qualified.

If you’d like some ketchup for your shoulder chips, I have some going spare.

Anyway, it’s all done. It’s not looking massively rosy at the moment. But whatever transpires is the fault of you and your fellow leave voters. Just make sure that you own the damage that you’ve done. No hiding behind Covid, or a “long term project” or any of those things.

Oooo!

It's still raw, even after nearly 5 (FIVE) years.  I'd better not pick at it further.

Sorry but by the law of Sheffield forum that link is to the Express which means it's already untrue.

The Express article, "PUBLISHED: 13:14, Sun, Apr 18, 2021 | UPDATED: 19:47, Sun, Apr 18, 2021" says it had "more than 15,500 signatures". At the time of this post it has 15912 signatures. At approximately 140 signatures per day and with France's population being over 67,000,000, it's going to take a while before Macron starts losing any sleep over it.

The petition is going nowhere now that Miss Piggy has dropped Frexit and bringing back the Franc.

The regional elections on 13 and 20 June will be a litmus test for the sovereignist party.

“All elections are a springboard, the RN should win one or more regions to show what it is capable of,” said Fabien Engelmann, who has been the mayor of Hayange (Moselle) since 2014 and RN regional councillor for the Grand-Est region.

In his view, abandoning the idea of leaving the eurozone and the EU is a good thing.

“We can stay in the European Union, it is up to each national sovereignist party to send a maximum number of MEPs to Brussels to defend its vision,” he told EURACTIV.
