And there doesn't appear to have been any previous objection from reading the Guardian piece to Amazon  possibly taking over the site, no doubt with hundreds of lorries running in & out 24/7, 365 days a year if any of their other warehouse sites are to go on?   Don't the locals want jobs & the additional businesses that will set up as support infrastructure?  Don't tell me they're all wealthy bankers who commute to London everyday.?

The William Harvey Hospital is just the other side of junction 10 of the M20 - about a quarter of a mile away. Housing at Willesborough is even closer.

And the Hallamshire Hospital is bang in the middle of Sheffield city centre, surrounded by busy roads. 

 

I've noticed over the years that roads, which allow vehicles & people to get to a hospital, tend to be one of the most essential bits of infrastructure that allow a hospital to actually function. 

 

So the point is what?

I'm surprised noone has yet raised the UK's very own Internal Market, which Johnson's government is busy setting up right now.

 

The government's PR about it may ring a few bells, for those who remember Remain PR about the EU's Internal Market 4+ years ago: it's the exact same!

It's alright, leave voting UK sellers understood that at the time, and are more than happy with it.......in fact, when their fledgling businesses evaporate overnight, that's one in the eye for them pesky European furriners.

Any consequences of Brexit are irrelevant now. Covid will be the governments get out of jail free card. Anything and everything can now be blamed on Covid and the sheep who voted for it will believe it. Shame really that the true consequences of Brexit will never be truly actually associated with leaving the EU.

 

I feel sorry for the people who  have suffered from the fateful decision to leave, I feel now they will never get any justice mentally.

N ot sure that's the case. Turming the south east of england into a lorry park, the return of roaming charges, the loss of reciprocal health care, there are lots of things which can and will be correctly identified as a consequence of brexit. a lot of these are the sorts of things which will affect people directly.
