Frechville Community Centre 1930/40'S

I am researching Frechville Community Centre in the late1930 early 1940 and understand that some  friends (who have passed  on ) performed in Variety Shows that were held there.

Has anyone any knowledge about this period

The names which spring to mind are Jane Hobson and Edna Morley

I'll ask my dad if he can add anything to this. He was born 1938 and raised with two elder siblings on Frecheville. There's not many people he won't have come across. He lived on the estate till him and my mum moved to Mosborough in 1996. His name is Dennis Stones with older siblings Maureen and Kenneth. I believe my parents had their wedding reception at the community centre in  December 1961.
