Wednesday are a strange team, they get some outstanding results like Forest away and then follow it up with a few losses and a hammering 

 

But it could be worse, think Leeds.  Race to the top of the league and then fall apart mid season

 

The championship needs Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday 

 

Without those two, the championship is dead

I'm just glad we have the chance to clear out some higher earners at the end of the season. This team doesn't have the fight and passion required to challenge. One up front at home shouldn't be happening unless it's the likes of West brom, not Blackburn.

We'll see what turns out next game

But listen, there are many facts that you can consider in this one. 

 

When you lose a player so early in the game, you aren't only numerically disadvantaged, but you can also argue that the home advantage disappears as well. We all know that The Championship is a ridiculous league at times, full of freak results against form and emerging teams in the second half of the season. 

 

From a team with top 6 aspirations, 3 points from a possible 15 simply isn't good enough is it. But....you have hit a defining point of the season now and the proof comes from how well you dust yourself off from this shambolic performance and result. You are in touching distance of the ultimate goal and if you bounce back and put a few wins together, you are well and truly back in the mix. If this form continues and you hit a prolonged, dismal spell.....then you could well find yourselves with little to nothing to play for this season.....but again, flip that coin..... If you pull things together and grind out results, with it is bound to come a bit of confidence and momentum and you could find yourselves well and truly in the mix again.......this result is far from a full drawn conclusion or forecast for the season!

 

Have a few shandies this evening and wash away the disappointment.....and then on to the next one. 

No mi owd its embarrassingly funny to me has a owl ,but 45mins we where out of there in the pub that was full with fellow owls, will be sat in my seat the next home game 😂

My daughter works at Brass Monkey and was suprised by how full the place was after the first half, so many people left...

Shocker from us today,Blackburn obviously saw a weakness in our defence,from the last game we played and exploited it,little balls  through the channel inside the 18yard box that were cut back & they used this tactic the entire game,that said theres nowt much in it @ 0-1 untill the dubious red card,hes not done much wrong,infact their lads got his studs showing and feet off the floor,yellow at most,then Dawson pushes it onto a post and it goes in off the back of his head,from there it just fell apart.

Think weve scored 14 goals in 15 home games,just not good enough,its supposed to be entertainment FFS!
