Hillsborough Arena car boots will not be taking place this year.

We went to a carboot sale on Sunday  and was expecting there to be strict distancing in place.

 Some stalls had buyers shoulder to shoulder with little or no PPE.

Lets hope the virus is on its way out otherwise it will spread at these places.

Does anybody know when Thorpe Hesley and High Green Cricket Club will be able to confirm officially that the car boot scheduled for Sunday 21 June will be going ahead?  Their online information says they're hoping to hold it, but no further details as yet.

Silly me I put 31st meant 21st but no idea if def going ahead does still say 21st on page.

Jawbone has confirmed carboot field is drying out nicely with the warm sun today, so it looks good for tomorrow.  They said yesterday that although the grass was wet after the rain, the ground underneath was firm.  There's a recorded message on their no 07597 966757.  They've said they'll put a further message on  tonight, no later than 8pm, should they have to cancel at short notice.

Thanks will check before 8pm but they say it's looking good and can't see no reason why shouldn't go ahead.Only 25 cars booked but say there's a chance others might just turn up in the morning

Jawbourne car boot was OK not half as many sellers as per usual but a good few.To be honest more buyers than sellers but was  OK.

Thorpe hesley this Sunday 21st hopefully more sellers and a better range of goods not just bric a brac

Tesco at Infirmary Rd have posted on Facebook that they are hoping to start theirs on  Sunday June 29th, only 50 cars allowed and usual precautions etc.
