Owls Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

so it means a full team re-build,but will we be able to buy or pay decent wages,if not we have a problem, like the way leeds have gone, also wolves they went up great,is monk clever enough to get freebies, add top loan players to get us up that way, wolves went for loan players, are leeds mainly loan players?

Now with Fletcher out for 10 weeks ,we definetly need a striker quick,Lee Gregory as been linked with The Owls,if i was Monk i would get him in today,or the fans will be very worried facing Leeds without some striker who can head the ball in,as the ones we have are not strikers good at heading the ball in from crosses

Billy Sharpe to Sheffield Wednesday?

He is without doubt proven at championship level as was shown at Sheffield United

He is largely not being used at United right now

Would the owls fans have a proven striker who could win them promotion?

Or would owls prefer another 10 seasons in the championship rather than welcome a blades striker?

If Leeds get promoted to the Premier league this season then the championship is finished, no crowd pulling teams any longer.

Wycome wanderers are very unlikely to draw huge attebdances in the championship

They certainly did Jim, 38,082, but there opponents were  worthy of the support at that time. 😂

It'd the other way round, I'm sure he's turned Wednesday down before.

Didnt laws try to sign him from scunthorpe and sharpe turned it down.

Other strikers linked to us are Vydra at Burnley.and Kodja at villa

Meanwhile Winnall may be a target for his old club and sunderland also interested as well as huddersfield, clubs also interested in both Bannan AND the much maligned, much improved Morgan Fox

Yes Brian Laws as Owl's boss failed in tempting Billy from the Irons. Both Sheffield born Billy and Jamie Vardy have the same feelings for the clubs they didn't support as kids.
