Come back jon Pertwee alls forgiven.  The makers of the  new version have got a bit confused,  they have given Mckenzie Crook the same  costume he wore in pirates of the carribean.

Jon Pertwee was brilliant as Worzel Gummidge.

I thought this lot were too scary looking for kids,  I wouldn't have let my kids watch  this rubbish remake  before they went to bed,  nightmares would have been guarenteed.  Pertwee and Stubbs were cast perfectly, they were funny and suited kids and adults.

Agreed, Porridge, Open all hours,  have both failed in my opinion. My god I hope nobody makes attemps at remaking Steptoe.
