There's 1 seat yet to declare.

Diane Abbott reckons there's still a chance.

The tory vote was up by 1.2%, Brexit/UKIP total remained constant at 2%, while Labour fell by 7.8%. So it wasn't so much that the Tories did well, as it was Labour voters were voting "anyone but Labour" in droves.

Labour and Lib Dens got a bloody nose because they refused to listen to the majority  of their voters, and in Parliament  they still don't  hear us, they are intent  on working for their own wishes rather than the will of the people. Let's hope this teaches them a lesson.

As for the Beast of Bolsover  it's  time he went he was too smug for his own good.

Jo Swinson.? Arrh poor girl, didn't  she realise when she did so well last time was because most of them were protest votes.

So now he is in with a massive majority the 20,000 police that were going to be recruited to get us back to 2010 levels can be scrapped, along with the 50,000 nurses and the 40 new hospitals. I find it hard to believe politicians as they make it up to suit themselves and rarely give a straight answer to a question but I wouldn't trust Johnson as far as I could throw him.

The lib dems got around 1.3 million more votes than they did in 2017 so i'd say they did listen to the majority of their voters.

Note also that a majority of the voting public voted for parties that were committed to Remain or to have a second referendum.

So, the Conservatives who enabled the financial crash by deregulating the banks, have given us 10 years of austerity so bad that it has killed thousands of people, cocked up the withdrawal from the EU for 3 years, and have given us 3 consecutivePrime Ministers: one who started the whole Brexit debacle and then buggered off, then a dithererPrime Minister who promised us 'strong and stable' but was anything but and failed to deliver the withdrawal for 3years, and now a Prime Minister buffoon who lies through his teeth and can't be trusted to run a whelk stall. What do the Tories have to do to be voted out of office...?

Well done to all those heartland Labour voters who turned Tory because they 'don't much like Jeremy Corbyn,' even though he was on their side. (A quick tip - don't believe everything you read in the papers.) Well you got your wish. Now we all have to live with the consequences.

Enjoy the austerity. . .
