Enjoy the austerity. . .

I think what you fail to understand is that most people are already enjoying it. I have failed to find anyone who can say that it has affected them and been able to prove it.

BTW as many have said before, the financial crisis was worldwide and had little to do with deregulating the banks.

Saw and heard the momentum leader on TV and radio last night and even though labour were staring down the barrel of a gun , he still refused to accept any responsibility for their poor tactics

Not only that - the Guardian says the left are organising demonstrations agains Boris today at Downing Street.  What on earth are they trying to achieve? Do they want to alienate the electorate even more than they already have?! I can't stand Boris, but under our current system he won and people need to accept that and move on to fight another day.

More media manipulation swallowed whole by idiots, you know that photo was photoshopped...right?

No not right, it was definitely two left.

Having misunderstood that under Corbyn Labour are too left, she's still walking around in circles over 24 hours later.

If only as I am a pensioner who relies on a basic state pension only and have no other income at all and if you knew me you would also realise that I also have socialist principles as well.

So... just how has austerity affected you personally?

How naive you are...

Believeing more of Boris' lies.

The sky might not, but the pound will, the standard of living will, the employment rate will...

You have taken us back to the 70s, not Corbyn!

I see the £ is soaring now - highest levels for years!  US are queuing up to do a big trade deal with us, EU still want to trade with us.  Where did it all go wrong?😀

As you say I don’t think that austerity has directly affected many people.

That is unless you have been affected by the cuts in education,NHS,policing, social services....and there are many of these.

I hope Boris does redress the balance as he promises, but this is only restoring the cuts made by his government over the last 9 years.

'Get Brexit Done' won the election.

Owen Jones on Twitter:

"I’m so, so sorry guys. Just utterly devastating. Brexit just smashed us. Keeping together an electoral coalition of Remainers and Leavers as the country bitterly divided just became impossible."

😀  Love it!

Next time Labour might want to consider standing for something and not sitting on the fence hoping they can catch voters from both sides of the referendum.  Oh and a good, charismatic, leader might help.

What people seem to forget is that Labour said in 2010 that they would have to make severe austerity cuts:

Of course he refused, that's why people voted the way they did.

Well done to all those heartland Labour voters who turned Tory because they 'don't much like Jeremy Corbyn,' even though he was on their side. (A quick tip - don't believe everything you read in the papers.) Well you got your wish. Now we all have to live with the consequences.

Enjoy the austerity. . .

Given the way you've been cheer leading for brexit over the last three years you probably persuaded a few of them to do so.

And don't forget, whatever sort of brexit Boris implements and whatever the consequences of it, there is no "This isn't the brexit I voted for".
