John Sheridan & Chesterfield.

Recommended Posts

Caught the tail-end of Radio Sheffield's 'Praise & Grumble' on Saturday.  Clearly, Sheridan's not one for the old adage of what's said in the dressing room, stays in the dressing room.   I've never heard a rant like this from a professional football manager.

Chesterfield, having lost again, Sheridan put the full blame of Chesterfield's latest defeat firmly on the shoulders of his captain for giving the ball away & he was also distancing himself from the rest of the players.

One of the funniest things he said was that he stated that the really didn't have to take the job at Chesterfield (?), he had other offers.

Wonder who'll be sacked first?  Sheridan or the Chesterfield captain?
