Do First Accept Totum Cards For Student Fares?

Totum is apparently the new name for NUS Extra and whilst First’s website states that they will accept NUS Extra cards to be eligible for a student fare, it doesn’t specifically mention Totum. I can’t see why they wouldn’t accept them as it is just the new branding for the same thing, but wondered whether anyone has used a Totum card on a First bus and been able to get the student fare. 

 

I tried ringing First earlier on but spent 20 minutes on hold and then gave up.

Totum cards allow access to the £1 single fare within Sheffield area only.

Thank you, presumably they can also be used for weekly tickets through the mTickets app or on a smartcard.
