Maz 0 #1 Posted November 24, 2019 (edited) We are planning to move from Staffordshire, we know Sheffield city area well having lived in Kelham for a year about 6 years ago. We're in our 50's and want to be on the Woodseats side of town, possibly out a bit in a little cottage. We want a nice pub, good walks and a bus into town. Really appreciate any suggestions please for any area that way we can come visit. Thanks Edited November 24, 2019 by Maz
 Share this content via...
jacobldonohoe 0 #2 Posted November 24, 2019 Woodseats is a nice area, the main road has plenty of buses into town although I do not know of any cottage-like houses nearby as the area is quite busy. I would perhaps consider checking out the chancet wood area or further towards beauchief. The walks are all excellent around graves park/chancet wood/beauchief golf course and feature on the Sheffield round walk. I'm not so well versed on pubs in the area so can't comment ,but hope I helped.
 Share this content via...

DancingDave 10 #5 Posted November 30, 2019 Dronfield, is worth a look, lots of nice properties out there, closer to the open countryside, lots of nice pubs too.
 Share this content via...
