Photographs From 1980s By The Late Martin Jenkinson

Some people on here may have visited the Martin Jenkinson photographic  display at the Weston Park Museum late last year into April this. It attracted over 51,000 visitors.

 

There is now a smaller display of Martin's photos from the 1980s up in the Harland Cafe on John Street. 

 

There is also a new book out IMAGES OF THE PAST: SHEFFIELD IN THE 1980S. It is launched at 2.30pm on Sunday 1 December at the cafe. The previous book of photos taken by Martin, who died in 2012,  was of The Miners Strike 1984/85 and it sold in large numbers. 

 

The book costs £15 and is available at Waterstones stores.
