Children In Need

I watched Children in Need on tv last night and am amazed at the amount of money they collect each year . However, I did not see anyone with collection tins in shops etc this year.  Did I miss them or have they stopped doing that now ?

On saying that I went down The Moor this morning, walked into Boots, the chemists, and there in front of me was a young man with a collection tin for Children in Need. This is the first person I have seen this time with a collection tin. I’m sure they would collect a lot more money this way. None of the other shops down The Moor we doing this.

Did it happen last night?  Really?  My kids have done something every other year.
