El Cid   220 #1 Posted November 3, 2019 (edited) Do councils give political parties free rooms for political meetings? Where I live there is a building called the Labour Rooms/Building. I always assumed it was owned by the Labour party, but I am not sure. I know various groups have meeting at the Leeds Civic Hall, anti/pro Brexit meetings. Would they really get a free room? I have never seen office hire costs when I have seen council accounts at the end of the year.
