Electric Cars, Anyone Got One?

Hybreds are as good as it it gets at the moment and they cost to much and more expensive to run than a normal car as you will know if you had one.

How do hybrids cost more to run?

They use less fuel than 'normal' cars. A lot of City taxi drivers have switched to hybrids and I've heard no complaints- taxi drivers do a lot of mileage so if hybrids cost more to run they would not be using them.

I've seen a couple of Toyota hybrid Taxi's but thats about it, for the most part it's still diesel saloons.

Skoda Octavia for example has long been the workhorse of the private hire fleet.
