He's an ex United player that scored in a crucial game so got the usual chants that any ex player will get from their rivals, no worse than what Jamie Vardy got at the Lane recently (although that was more that he's a fan), take the chanting out of the game and we might as well give up.

Exactly that. Not heard what was said but he was always going to get the most stick off fans as expected.

Wednesday have sung that song for years, it's a play on words and I'm sure it's tongue in cheek

The current league positions are irrelevant, teams don't play every game badly because they are 20th (as WBA will testify from last night) you play what the fixtures throw at you, 3 points off the top with 13 played is a decent start.

Plus,as in all sports,a team lifts itself against top opposition, Barnsley proved that last night. So even though the Owls are winning narrowly against lower opposition, it does not mean they will collapse when playing the top clubs, could be quite the reverse.

Oh dear Barry, yes it's all a bit childish but seriously what's that song you lot sing that mentions Jack Charlton again ?

Owls Wins So Far / Current League Position

Luton Town / 17th

Barnsley / 24th

Reading / 20th

Middlesbrough / 21st

Huddersfield Town / 22nd

Stoke City / 23rd

Wigan Athletic / 18th

So in actual FACT you haven’t beaten anyone currently above 17th and that would make Moistened right. 😉

Anyway 3pts & dissapointed at times how the owls seem to sit back & invite teams to attack after taking a lead ,can't keep doing this my heart can't take it on a regular basis.😁

That was a poor game, not much in it,decided by a defensive blunder by the defender whod just come on for the injured carter vickers.

Dawsons had one save to make and it was a very sharp stop,it was all about dogged defence,We stook to our task and ground out a result.Wouldnt want to see the highlites it would be very short LOL

Not going to go down as a classic but a win by any means is always welcome. Need to start performing better though if we are to stay in the top 6. Leeds will be a tough game
