A lot more in last nights program & well worth watching.

(Lots of old footage - plenty of Mk111 Cortinas, Escorts etc and even an old Bedford CA in one of the shots - happy days trying to get my old 3 speed CA up some of the hills in Sheff -LOL.)

Yeo Condor 2 lost the magic of 1 somehow and for me the acting just got so wooden I stopped enjoying it.

The ending is about the best part of two and personally I hope they don't make another series.

Keep safe.

Fully agree on Condor 2- you summed it up perfectly !

I will download the Neilson documentary, I got nostalgic when you mentioned Cortinas as my dad had mark III and 4.

In case you weren't aware a new season of Ghosts starts tonight on BBC1. Good fun.

For me the best show at the moment is Gone Fishing with Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer.  Don't let the title put you off, the fishing is incidental (half the time they don't catch anything) , but the banter between two very good pals is a joy to watch. Funny and moving in equal parts. Highly recommended.

The Mind of Mr J. G. Reeder on Talking Pictures TV at 9pm on Wednesdays. Originally broadcast in 1969-1971. Hugh Burden plays the mild-mannered detective from the Public Prosecutor's Office with a criminal mind created by Edgar Wallace. Great stuff.

I've just watched this. Very good. I don't remember it first time round - I didn't watch much TV in 1969, lol. Better things to do when you're 20.

Honour-  ITV

Very disturbing account of the so called 'honour' killing of Benaz Mahmod.

Watched the 1st part yesterday, with the Mrs and daughter (who were gripped by it).

It concludes tonight.

Yes I watched it and was very moved. Unbelievable that a family could allow this to happen.

Makes you wonder where this honour was when the father allows the killer(s) to rape and torture her before she was strangled!!

Sickening that they could allow this to happen and the police also failed her.

Last night.

Ghosts - BBC1 8.30-9.00 (R)

Daft enough to be funny.

couple inherit a rambling mansion with an array of ghosts all with different personality's.

From the cave man to the failed dodgy business man (who walks around with no trousers on having died in a compromising situation) this is a joyous romp true to the British sense of Humour. Personal favourite the Scout master with the Arrow through his neck fired by a cheating wife (by accident of course).

Watched all the 2nd series in one fell-swoop last week, then went on to iplayer and rewatched the first series. I enjoy it but it's not really funny. Don't know why I'm hooked. It's definitely got something.  Saw the actress Lolly Adefope on a repeat of one of the House Of Games programs last night. She really was hopeless, bless her 😀.

Midway through 'Enola Holmes'. Pretty good watch for kids. My eldest g-daughter is 7. Lots for her in it. Richly filmed.

Millie Bobby Brown ('Stranger Things') is the plucky heroine and 'Torchwood's' Burn Gorman is the dastard.

It's fun.
