metalman 21 #1060 Posted March 29, 2022 Last night I had the misfortune to catch a programme called Clean It, Fix It on BBC1. I think it may have been put on as a last minute replacement for Panorama because surely it can't usually be a prime-time series? Can it? Tommy Walsh (who now looks way too thin and decidedly ill) and two others cleaned up someone's shed. Believe it or not, the woman involved actually explained to us that she was going to use a vacuum cleaner to get rid of dust and cobwebs. I mean, who'd have thought it? Though as it happened later on when she cleaned up some more, she used a dustpan and brush instead! To be honest the whole thing was so bad and amateurish, and I was laughing so much, I began to wonder if it was a spoof, but apparently not. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0011fgl
 Share this content via...

Just looking at the cast list' Barry Crocker. Barry Humphries, Peter Cook, Spike Milligan, William Rushton, Clive James. And someone I didn't realise was in it - the lovely Julie Covington.
