Never heard of Patrick Dickinson but remember Fred Dibnah. What a character !

I loved Fred Dibnah...

Instead of making programmes about all these so called celebs, concentrate on some of the characters out there.

Believe you me, there are some very interesting people about.

White house farm murders. I doff my cap to who ever pitched this to itv/Netflix as a 6 episode series as there is no way on God's green earth this needed to be any more than 3.

And mark addys north Essex accent is a borderline hate crime - in fact he appeared to give up completely by the fourth episode. Stephen Grahams Welsh accent isn't great either but at least its there.

I liked the whit house murders too, but it was bit longish.

Just watched all of The Bay, Marcella(poor), The Bridge (USA version).

Just watched an old news I recorded yesterday saying that the father of the missing chef Claudia Lawrence who disappear 12 years ago has died.  I thought this man acted with dignity when he was interviewed over the years about her disappearance.

It’s sad that he’s died and never found out what happened to Claudia.

I was going to give Marcella a swerve, I've not seen one good report. The Bridge was a pleasant surprise.

'Blown Away'

https://www.netflix.com/gb/title/80215147

While you have to admire the craft, the program itself is a nightmare watch. The edit is awful. The show's only 23 minutes per episode so everything feels like you're rushed along at a 100 miles per hour. Fast cuts and dramatic music do not, IMHO, work on any show where skill is involved. They need to slow the whole thing down radically. If if was presented like something like 'Portrait Artist Of The Year' it would be a far more enjoyable watch.

Have to respect the craft though.

Ah...that explains it and most likely explains all the dreams I have.

I was going to say, "I need to get out more". Then I realised......

Back to tv and now it's Bargain Hunt!
