Inspector Montalbano just about to start on BBC 4.  Decent police drama, (if you can bear the idiot police constable, Catarella), with some lovely Sicilian sunshine & scenery thrown in.

I want Montalbano's house.

My favourite police drama. That was a new episode last night I think – at least, one I'd not seen before. Catarella seems to have aged (just in looks though, not behaviour).

Yes a new episode & another new one next Saturday.

Agree that everyone has aged apart from Montalbano.  Even Mimi Aguello, who my wife fancies.  We were trying to work out last night, if it's not another actress playing Livia?

The Forgotten West Memphis Three

Podcaster Bob Ruff investigates  the unsolved 1993 murders of 8-year-old boys Stevie Branch, Michael Moore and Christopher Byers in Arkansas, using new technology etc.

It’s a story I’ve been interested in for a while.

The first Urban Myths of the new series (on Sky Arts). Mark Addy IS Les Dawson. It's uncanny. Steve Pemberton does a marvellous Jean-Paul Sartre too.  Hope they haven't opened with their best, because this one will take some beating.

Been watching "Surgeons, at the edge of life".

Makes me squirm, chopping people up, then putting them back together again.

No thanks, I'll leave that programme for Pattricia to watch.

That’s just what I was watching !  Brilliant ! Reminded me of my first operation I attended in the theatre at the Northern General. I dare not faint as the consultant surgeon doing the op. was my brother in law !

Just found the original 'Taggart', episode 1 on the 'Drama' channel.with Mark McManus.

Not how I remember it?  Very slow going compared to later series.

Really enjoyed watching this programme the surgeons concerned and the support teams should be the ones collecting the awards from the palace not the  so called celebs....
