The programme doesn't work because it doesn't need two presenters which slows the whole show down. It especially doesn't need a husband & wife team, which appears to make it even slower due to their interactions. For a married couple, there's not much tv chemistry? Inspector Montalbano just about to start on BBC 4. Decent police drama, (if you can bear the idiot police constable, Catarella), with some lovely Sicilian sunshine & scenery thrown in.
