Richly filmed. Millie Bobby Brown ('Stranger Things') is the plucky heroine and 'Torchwood's' Burn Gorman is the dastard. It's fun.   I agree a good family film, a nice change from Sci Fi, by the way nothing wrong with that but an insight into Victorian times, very educating.
 Share this content via...

I thought i'd heard wrong when they said £1,500 a night but as soon as £18,000 a night was mentioned that was it the thing was off. Some of the shoes the women were wearing probably cost more than our first house - LOL  The Third Day  Finished watching the first part of this two story series on catch up (after switching off the 'Savoy thing') Very 'Wicker Man to start off with and looked promising if a little dated which actually gave it a quirkiness that was almost enjoyable. Shame the ending deteriorated into another of those non endings we seem to be getting used to.  There is more to come and again set on the lovely island of Osea in the river Blackwater.   I wasn't slagging anyone off ECCO and honestly don't care if someone pays £18,000 a night or £126,000 a Wk. I've just got my priority right wanting more cars and Bikes - LOL.  In fact logically if they're spending that sort of money to stop out overnight it means they arn't buying the type of cars and bikes I like !  Keep safe.
 Share this content via...

He makes it look so easy.  Very relaxing. That's the program my lad puts on when he wants his kids to go to sleep. They find it that boring they drift away after a few minutes. It's become a bit of a standing family joke that if anyone's having trouble getting the zzzzzzzs in, turn on Bob Ross .
 Share this content via...
wearysmith   141 #320 Posted October 1, 2020 Just viewed the 6th episode (of the 2nd series) of 'The Boys'. Just as gritty/funny as the first season. Maybe even more threatening and unnerving. There's a poster for it on one of the walls on the Parkway roundabout. An unenlightened mate said "It looks like Gladiators'. Yeah, if Gladiators was directed by Quentin Tarantino....
 Share this content via...

hauxwell   243 #323 Posted October 2, 2020 A one hour documentary about the honour killing of Banaz who was murdered by members of her own family. It showed you police interviews of her asking for their help, but sadly she was let down by them.  I found it very upsetting to watch.
 Share this content via...

Always watch Gardeners World on a Friday. Love to see Monty Dons dogs follow him around during the programme.
 Share this content via...
