Midway through 'Enola Holmes'. Pretty good watch for kids. My eldest g-daughter is 7. Lots for her in it. Richly filmed.

Millie Bobby Brown ('Stranger Things') is the plucky heroine and 'Torchwood's' Burn Gorman is the dastard.

It's fun.

I agree a good family film, a nice change from Sci Fi, by the way nothing wrong with that but an insight into Victorian times, very educating.

I'm watching The Savoy and was enjoying it until potty mouth Gordon Ramsey arrived - first thing he said to someone 'that's not very good manners -  What!

£18,000 a night ?????? WT ?

Now let me see £18,000 to stay there or buy some classic American car or even a Harley (or even both)

Now let me think!

Don't forget though, for the type of guest who regularly stays in that suite £18k a night is equivalent to a couple of hundred for the rest of us.

It's always the same with these 'luxury porn' type programmes.  Lots of focus on the price tag forgetting that for those who can...  its pocket change.

I find it interesting that so many people slag off the billionaires, toffs and overpaid stars and yet at the same time we cant seem to get enough TV programmes indulging our fantasies about how the other half live or we are in awe of some talentless, uber rich, Instagram whore 'influencer' following their every move and lapping up whatever merch or product they are flogging.   It's a very odd contradiction.

It was her that should be obeyed that had it on, my computer is in the same room so i tend to watch things by default.

I thought i'd heard wrong when they said £1,500 a night but as soon as £18,000 a night was mentioned that was it the thing was off.

Some of the shoes the women were wearing probably cost more than our first house - LOL

The Third Day

Finished watching the first part of this two story series on catch up (after switching off the 'Savoy thing')

Very 'Wicker Man to start off with and looked promising if a little dated which actually gave it a quirkiness that was almost enjoyable.

Shame the ending deteriorated into another of those non endings we seem to be getting used to.

There is more to come and again set on the lovely island of Osea in the river Blackwater.

I wasn't slagging anyone off ECCO and honestly don't care if someone pays £18,000 a night or £126,000 a Wk.

I've just got my priority right wanting more cars and Bikes - LOL.

In fact logically if they're spending that sort of money to stop out overnight it means they arn't buying the type

of cars and bikes I like !

Keep safe.

Joy of Painting with Bob Ross.  7pm a few nights a week on BBC 4.

Learn how to paint. He makes it look so easy.

Very relaxing.

That's the program my lad puts on when he wants his kids to go to sleep. They find it that boring they drift away after a few minutes. It's become a bit of a standing family joke that if anyone's having trouble getting the zzzzzzzs in, turn on Bob Ross .

Just viewed the 6th episode (of the 2nd series) of 'The Boys'. Just as gritty/funny as the first season. Maybe even more threatening and unnerving.

There's a poster for it on one of the walls on the Parkway roundabout. An unenlightened mate said "It looks like Gladiators'. Yeah, if Gladiators was directed by Quentin Tarantino....

Buy the lads some paper, pens, paint brushes and paints Weary - there s no secret to painting and drawing - it. it is easy.

Practice and technique thats all it takes.

Failing that i could always find them a couple of my old Tattoo machines - and some ink, Lol.

Keep safe

A one hour documentary about the honour killing of Banaz who was murdered by members of her own family. It showed you police interviews of her asking for their help, but sadly she was let down by them.

I found it very upsetting to watch.

I also saw this and have to agree how upsetting it was.

Always watch Gardeners World on a Friday. Love to see Monty Dons dogs follow him around during the programme.
