Joy of Painting with Bob Ross.  7pm a few nights a week on BBC 4.

Learn how to paint. He makes it look so easy.

Very relaxing.

I watch this now and then, its so relaxing to listen too as well as watch, though I think he's obsessed with trees!

I'm becoming addicted to landscape artist of the year, some talented artists on there

Re: Bob Ross & Joy of Painting.  Never seen him or heard of him until BBC4 started to show these programmes.

Looked him up & sadly he died in 1995.  His quietly spoken voice is apparently down to the fact that he was a Master Sgt in the US Air Force based in Alaska, in his own words, the guy you hated, the guy who would shout at you all day.  When he left the Air Force, he made a conscious decision not to shout at people ever again.

The Boy Who’s Skin Fell Off.   Best thing I’ve ever seen on tv. A young man with a rare hereditary skin disease .
