At least you know what the BNP (however wrong) stand for.

She is on tthe gravy train now so she does what she wants the people who voted for her are possibly the last thing on her mind .

You do know that Sheffield was split pretty much 50/50 right?. Why are you assuming that her constituents (of whom I am one) would want her to vote any other way?

You don't like what she's doing then don't vote for her, that's your choice, but please don't presume that you speak for anyone else.

Also, the people who voted for her were Labour voters and two-thirds of Labour voters didn't vote Leave so...

Here you are the actual vote results for Gill Furniss's constituency of Sheffield, Brightside and Hillsborough in the EU Referendum vote, Leave 59.97%.,  Remain 40.03 She is hardly representing her voters is she.

59.97 Leave - Remain 40.03.  "Good post" but not very factual is it.

Yes it is factual because I think it's a good post. On the point that you raise, MPs are not delegates, they are there, yes to take their constituents views into account, though ultimately they vote with their conscience. Just like John Redwood does, who represents a remain constituency.

Ooo, we are the neighbours 😘

I didn't vote for the Gill Furniss MP either.  Finally, we have the something in common after all 😍

I always vote for the Far Left / Marxist / Communist / Socialist candidate instead.

Anyway, best of luck trying to unseat the Ms Furniss MP from the strongest Labour constituency 🤣

Then he should vote remain, simples really.

The MP has the right to vote with her conscience,  even if it’s against the majority wishes of her constituents.

The constituents have the right to get rid of her at the next  election which I am guessing will happen with the current arithmetic.

Everyone talking about representatives v delegates need to stop using wordplay to avoid the main issues.

The basic maths was never the typical leave voter's strongest quality, was it?

The Brightside constituency will re-elect the Ms Furniss MP at the next election

I think I have sourced the reason the Remainers are so fanatical in their reasoning that our MP's should be allowed, nay encouraged to vote for Remain, even though their constituencies voted to leave.

A little googling brings up the constituencies who voted leave and those who voted remain.

Leave 406 constituencies

Remain 244 constituencies.

How could the remain voters on here agree that an MP should indeed represent their constituents wishes, if they did Brexit would have been done and dusted YEARS ago.
