There never seems to be any news of many companies creating thousands of jobs.  Yet every month we have news that unemployment has fallen again.  Figures don't seem to stack up. Because everytime someone gets a job on the minimum wage with no guarantees as to how many hours they will work - if any - the government tells us they are off the list. But are they getting those jobs? If you did a survey of every person laid off just in retail and ask them where they are working now, what would it tell us? They can't all be working in Aldi!
