Ms Interpret   10 #14 Posted October 9, 2019 I agree with Ridgewalk but I do love it here The food is always great and the cakes are lovely.. Nice  shops to look around and buy stuff you dont need and the gardens and grounds are nice too but the cafe is very noisy at peak times and unpleasant, it needs some cosying up. Maybe the extension will be like Chatsworth where you can have a nice quiet meal in the Carriages restaurant and be served (at a price!) or sit in the cafe with the hoards!
 Share this content via...
maggidee   10 #15 Posted October 25, 2019 It’s  makes me laugh all this moaning about prices, 1.if you don’t like the price why did you buy it 2if it’s overcrowded, that tells you its good, 3 .its not kfc,it’s not McDonald’s  you’ll find them a lot cheaper. 4 what did you get with your jacket potato a filling, salad.not just a potato. , ps fish n chips at Tom kerridge restaurant,£35.95,now that is expensive. It was money well spent judging by the amount of people who go there. It's a great place to go for kids, plenty of stuff for them to play on.  Probably could do with a few less old duffers huffing and puffing about the price of food, perhaps it's good if the OP doesn't return. Resident   1,193 #19 Posted October 25, 2019 I'll let you in on a secret. Kids meals are about 6 quid but are pretty much an adult portion. 😉
 Share this content via...
MEC176   10 #20 Posted October 26, 2019  Went worth is expensive always has been but you are paying for the pleasure of being there, if you want a nice meal with quiet surroundings try Langlands Nursery up Loxley, use to be Rindgold Nursery, it’s not in the same league as Wentworth but it’s a nice cheaper place. Westie1889   0 #21 Posted October 27, 2019 Wentworth Garden Centre is incredibly successful and is in the top 5 Garden Centres in the country by turnover which I think is around £12m per year. they are not cheap but then they are not aiming at that type of customer, if you want good quality in nice surroundings then go, if you want cheap then go somewhere else - simple!
