Well 61.1mm of rain here since 6:45 not a record yet but a long time to go yet.

This brings the autumn up to 396.2mm so the 2000 record is within reach at 436.9mm.

This morning about 10am on Moss way water was gushing up about 6 inches into the air from one drain. Was lots of surface water just past the hostel in Woodhouse and you could see water coming down from the hill at the bottom of Beaver Hill.

Brightside Lane is flooded.

 

Carphone warehouse at meadowhall is offering free recharging for phones if anybody is stuck there and needs to charge their phone.

Morrisons at Ecclesfield is really bad,but as soon as you get pass there the roads seem clear,not many buses about and the driver on the 76 bus,said not many drivers about as there suppose to drive for a 4 and half hours but today loads have drove more than 6 hours,like to see what its going to be like in the morning?

The bridge at Canklow roundabout (A631 Bawtry road next to Shell garage) is now flooded.

Reports of Vere Rd Homes being Evacuated and Swfc stadium close to flooding ? If anyone needs help give us a shout or just check on old ones living around there etc , stay safe
