Crawshaws Crystal Peaks Closed Down

More for info but the Crawshaws at Peaks has closed down today. Personally the twice tried meat from there found it poor quality and expensive for the quality,  but theres plenty of people that use it and it seems they have kept quiet until today.

Anyway plenty of good butchers in the market and theres Sainsburys and M&S that are hood value for quality

No was still brand as Crawshaws outside but after take over name change to Meat Mart

The one at Morrisons?  Thats a different company I think.

Crawshaws at Crystal Peaks is the same company that went into administration recently, people have long said their meat isn't the best.

 

John Crawshaw's have excellent meat, I believe they source from local suppliers?

The Crawhaws in the Hillsborough Morrisons complex is still going strong and always busy despite the extensive meat offerings at Morrisons. I’ve heard that 2 brothers inherited Crawshaws and went in different directions with the Moor and Crystal Peak shops being managed by one faction and the Hillsborough one by the other

I think someone was pulling you leg perhaps.

 

The Crawshaws at Crystal Peaks was part of a fairly large chain that collapsed into administration, it was originally setup in Bristol in the early 2000's under a different company name.

Different name, one is Crawshaws (the one in administration) the other is John Crawshaws.
